The Five Stages of Grief

Grief is a deeply personal journey, and each person's path is unique. By acknowledging these stages, we can better comprehend the emotions that accompany loss and offer compassion to ourselves and others during such times.

1. Denial: A state of disbelief, where individuals may struggle to accept the reality of the loss.

2. Anger: Feelings of frustration and helplessness, often directed towards oneself, others, or the situation.

3. Bargaining: Attempting to negotiate or make deals, often with a higher power, in hopes of reversing or lessening the loss.

4. Depression: Profound sadness and withdrawal as the individual begins to process the magnitude of the loss.

5. Acceptance: Coming to terms with the loss and finding a way to move forward.

It's important to note that these stages are not linear; individuals may move through them in different orders, revisit certain stages, or experience multiple stages simultaneously. Grief is unique to each person, and there is no "right" way to grieve
